Weekend Projects

Ann, my good friend from high school, is having a baby. Whoa.  Along with the baby gifts, I made her a little bracelet. No one ever gives anything to the mom. It’s a simple bracelet made of snow quartz, clear quartz chips and smokey quartz. Quartz is supposed to be a good healing stone and smoky quartz helps deflect negative feelings and such. Good for new mothers, eh?

My Aunt Sue’s birthday was last week. In usual Masters fashion, I have made her present after the the fact.

Glass earrings.

Mom gave me a mailer for signing up for a Kit of the Month club from Simply Beads. It comes with everything you need, beads, findings, wire, etc. Here is the first kit, a seed bead necklace with a shell pendant. It’s pretty easy, but working with little seed beads takes SOO long somtimes.

Second Kit of the Month. Indian Agate chips, 6mm and 8 mm beads, pearls and black stone beads on memory wire. It was really easy. I gave it away to my friend Margie because it looked so good on her.
