Mom’s Birthday

by Joy Masters on April 9, 2009

Surprisingly, I actually finished Mom’s birthday present on time and even MORE surprising, I sent them to her on time. I know- crazy! Not surprising, it took me more than 2 months to post them on the website. Her birthday was February 1. Well, I didn’t want go too crazy on the punctuality thing. It would upset the natural order of the universe.

All were wrapped individually inside a candy tin, minus the candy. I made mOm start to open them one at a time the day before her birthday. She likes surprises and suspense, but I can’t handle it!

mOm’s favorite color, well, one of them, is green. Above is real malachite and sterling leverback earwires.

 Happy glass sunflower earrings.

Milifiori (thousand flowers in Italian) glass stars, dark green glass beads and garnet and moonstone earrings.

And a bracelet of green. mOm has tiny, tiny bird-like wrists. Yet, I still made it too small. I will restring it for her before her next birthday. Promise! Love ya mOm! xoxo
