Bronzite and Lemon Quartz

by Joy Masters on May 25, 2009

When I first began my addiction, I mean, when I first attempted to make jewelry, I found a bead store that was having a terrific sale, mostly on bronzite. This crazy stone almost looks like it’s compressed gold sawdust. Ok, to me it looks like that. Flecks of gold set in varying shades of brown.

I finally put a bunch of this bronzite to use with lemon quartz I also purchased in the beginning of my downward spiral.

The choker above has square bronzite and lemon quartz nuggets on bronze stringing wire, with bronze lobster clasp and chain extender. Besides the bronzite and lemon quartz nuggets, the necklace below inlcudes round and teardrop shaped citrine in a couple different shades. Also on bronze stringing wire and bronze clasp and wire extender.
