I wanted to use up some of those little tiny glass seed beads before ALL of them end up on the floor. These little guys are very quick and agile. It’s almost like their are kamikazes and their sole mission is to jump off my work table. I can hear their delighted cries now.
But I digress.
From the book Stringing Style by Jamie Hogsett, this lariat is more like a wrap or tiny beaded scarf. It’s about 78" long and you can wrap it around and around your neck or wrist and even tie a loose knot. Only problem: in storage it gets tangled easily. Here I used quilt square charms at the ends, for my sister the quilter, and four colors of those pesky little seed beads.
