Yellow and Black Agate

by Joy Masters on March 19, 2010

Who makes things that are yellow and black? Yeah, Nature. Bees, hornets, yellow and black agate. That is all I can think of. I found these yellow and black agate at a local bead store I like to haunt. OOOoooOOOooooOOoo. I’m such a dork. Sorry.

With crazy stones like these, you don’t need to do much with them. They can really speak for themselves.

Orioles! They come in black and yellow too.

I simply strung the agate with gunmetal plated copper saucers. That’s it. That’s all. Oh, and of course, the clasp.

Wow, that’s a cool necklace. Love the color variations in the stones.

Thanks Tammy! I love the colors variations too. Nature does some really kick-butt work.

This is a great necklace, I’m totally jealous of the stones.

I love the gunmental saucers! They really add that kick while complementing the stones and letting them speak for themselves!

Thank you Danielle! As soon as I saw these stones, I knew I had to have them. I coveted!
